In this Privacy Policy references to "we" and "us" are to Totally Techy Ltd trading as "Totally Techy", company number 06595441, registered office 165 Field End Road, Eastcote, Middlesex, HA5 1QL.

What Information is Stored
We collect various information to assist us. All information that we may record is listed below; however, not all services record all information. Some of this information is recorded temporarily (e.g. whilst a computer is in for repair) and removed when we are finished.

We keep personal details such as your name, address, email address, telephone number etc.
We keep records of your computer settings, file information, serial numbers, passwords (if required).
We keep records of your use of our services.
We keep records of your website usage.
We keep records of your payment details (e.g. How you paid).
We do NOT keep card details on record.

What We Do With It
All personal data that we collect is used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and any other applicable law. Details are stored for the following reasons.

To allow us to continue our contract with you (e.g. payment details, address)
To allow us to service your computer as required (e.g. passwords, serial numbers)
To allow us to contact you (e.g. if the FoundIT tag is being used)
To allow you to log in and use our website.
To provide aftersales care or support.
To comply with legal requirements.
Promotional, Marketing & Aftercare Reasons*

* From time to time we may contact you (via any method) to inform you of promotions, goods, services etc. that may be of interest. This is an Opt-In agreement and we will not contact you unless you agree to it (outside of normal services/support requirements). We will not pass on your details unless required for a specific service (e.g. reporting to BT a fault with your ADSL line). We will never pass on your details for marketing reasons and if your details leave our company for any reason (e.g. printing letters), it will be under the same level of protection that we offer and use.

Sensitive information
As part of our services, we will often have to access private and personal areas of your computer. Our Techies have very strict Privacy & Ethics policies. In performing our services, we may make backups of your data, store information and see personal information & documents. We will always ensure that any data copied is securely removed and that personal information is respected. If whilst performing our services a Techie is exposed to illegal material, it may be our civic and/or legal responsibility to report such findings to the appropriate authorities. Under these circumstances such disclosure will not be a breach of our obligation of confidentiality.

In-Store CCTV
As part of our Privacy & Ethics policies we record all our CCTV for 28 days. Our CCTV is recorded in High Quality and Watermarked for use in court. We also record sound.

Your Rights
You have rights to the following:

You can ask us to update your personal information (we may require proof of ID).
You can cancel any Opt-In communication at any time (please allow a short delay for filtering through our systems).
You can ask us to remove all records of you and your details.*
You may request a copy of all data held about you (including CCTV). This is currently a free service but proof of ID may be required.

* We can only remove all your details if you are no longer an ongoing customer or you do not want to keep up with our support or warranty (e.g. address, payment details, serial numbers). We can remove certain sections of our data and will discuss this with you. When possible, and whilst complying with your request, we will keep records but anonymize them (e.g. we will keep logs of what was done, customer care reports, serial number
