Feeling a bit sluggish? It's no surprise - Windows gets flooded with many applications you don't need, most of which you probably don't even know you have. In addition to software being installed, you can get registry issues, incorrect settings and hard drive issues.
What is a Computer Tune Up / Speed Up?
We'll check all these and make sure your machine is running at peak performance. We do this by checking various parts of your machine, removing old applications and slimming down your startup process. We also make recommendations on software that could be changed and hardware that can be upgraded.
What exactly will you do?
We don't provide a checklist as we don't follow one. We will do what we think is needed for your individual computer and checklists don't really help us - they are generally used just to show off by other companies. We will however do the minimum: HDD Scan, File System Check, Virus Scan, Startup Clean Up and Registry Cleanup.
Hardware
There is only so much a Computer Tune Up / Speed Up can do, you may need some memory or additional upgrades so we'll make some suggestions but there is no pressure, its entirely up to you! There may be additional service charges as well as cost of parts, but it's always optional.
Pros:
Saves money - no need to go out and buy a new machine.
Cons:
Tune Up can only do so much - we'll tell you if it's not worth it.
Pricing & Notes:
Remote - Sometimes additional memory may really speed up your machine, its not possible to do this part via the internet!

Remove old software (e.g. expired anti virus)
Advice on Hardware upgrades.
Excluded:
Parts (e.g. more memory). We will install this as part of the service.
Virus Removal (or any other related service).
No Fix, No Fee - There is no 'fault' to fix, this is a servicing of your machine.
