Transfer your data from an old computer to a new one, or to an external hard drive.
What is Data Transfer?
Data is everything on your computer that means something to you, this could be Photos, Music, Videos or Documents etc. Data Transfer is the process of moving that data from an old computer (or hard drive) to a new one.
Why Data Transfer?
It means that moving to a new computer doesn't mean losing your personal files. If you have a new computer then we can help transfer all your documents, photos and music over to it.
Data transfer from a dead computer
If your computer is not booting or completely dead then all is not lost! We can still perform a data transfer.
I don't have another computer!
Thats OK, we can simply transfer your data to an external hard drive. You can use your data later when you buy another one.
Can software be transferred?
If you're lucky enough to own a mac then we can transfer your applications as well as your data. Unfortunately, the design of Windows means that the applications are installed in such a way that the drivers and services are integrated right through the system so applications cannot be transferred. Once your data is transferred, you will need to reinstall the applications yourself. We are happy to do this for you as part of the service, but you'll need to provide your licence keys to us.
I'd like to clean my computer too
It's a good idea to offset some of the big costs of a new computer by selling your old one. If you want to do this, let us know and we can perform a secure data wipe for you at the same time (extra charges apply).

Can transfer from desktop or laptop even if the machine is dead

We cannot copy applications from one computer to another (unless you are using a Mac)
