Our pre-uni health check will get your computer ready to go. We'll test your hard drive, memory and remove any viruses. We'll then tuneup your computer, offer any advice and finally install the FULL AVG Internet Security package if you need it.

Whether you're off to uni for the first time, or are a seasoned pro you'll know the value of your computer. We have tailored services for students that we've created after helping many of you out. If you don't want to take up our packages, you can still use your NUS card and get a 10% discount on labour.

Totally Techy have lots of experience helping students remove viruses and recover lost work. We now offer a student support package which means you can use us throughtout your university year as many times as you need, without paying anything for labour!

What You Get!

You get a pre-uni health check that costs £49 on its own!

All reasonable labour in-store and remotely (see below for what we mean by reasonable).

A FoundIT sticker. This is a sticker that is put on the bottom of your laptop. If it is lost or stolen, there is a number for the finder (or police) to call.

If you need it, we'll install a copy of FULL AVG Internet Security.

If your repair will take more than 3 working days to fix (Mon-Sat), we'll loan you a laptop to use instead, FOR FREE!
Small Print & Whats Not Covered

Only one machine is covered at any one time. We will only start the cover once you have had the initial health check so get in quick. If you change your laptop, you need to come and see us before we will cover the new one.

Unlimited Labour. We will provide reasonable free labour in-store and remotely (e.g. we'll spend hours fixing your computer) but not unlimited labour. As an example, we could spend 100s of man hours trying to recover data which would be more suited for recovery by a 3rd party.

Parts & Hardware. You are welcome to supply your own.

Services not included: Mechanical or Physical Data Recovery (e.g. taking your hard drive apart to recover your files). Motherboard Repair.

Courier/Postal Charges if you want to use that service.

The support contract lasts from the day the health check is completed to the last day of your university year (circa July 2011). If you leave university early, your cover will end.

We are not an insurance company and do not insure your computer, this is a support contract only. You may wish to check your computer is insured physically with your contents insurance.

We make no guarantees on data recovery, PLEASE backup and DO NOT rely on USB sticks (we see a LOT of students who have lost data which is not recoverable).
"Backup" means at least two copies.
